RACK – Drum Storage Rack Code 0080
This is a vertically expandable storage system for cable drums with unlimited modular extension. Each drum is supported individually by single shaft supports equipped with safety devices that prevent drum release.
Drum handling operations can be performed while keeping all other drums safely locked in position. The system is modular and expandable through connecting bars and does not require drum alignment thanks to its individual support configuration. The resin-bushing shafts with adjustable locking collars ensure smooth and controlled drum pay-off.

Components for opening/closing the safety system
For supports – Code 0025 and 0023
Safety activation rod – Code 0034
- Made of aluminum, it’s lightweight and convenient for opening and closing the safety locks on the drum supports that need to be unloaded;
- Available in different lengths to match the height of the rack;
- Features a V-shaped end to slow the drum in case it unwinds too quickly.
For supports – Code 0028
The system features a series of supports for the shafts, all connected by a mechanism that allows for simultaneous opening and closing of safety locks. You can choose to operate the system by foot pedal or hand lever, whichever suits you best, making loading and unloading quick and easy. Its standout innovation is the staggered safety release: when you remove a drum, only that specific slot unlocks, while the drum above and below stay securely locked—eliminating the fall risk common with “cage” systems.
All supports are equipped with active anti-fall safety features. To load a drum onto the rack, simply rest the shaft on the support; the pressure will automatically open the safety lock, and once the drum is fully set, the lock snaps back into its closed position.
One safety lock has been disengaged so the operator can retrieve the desired drums while keeping all others secure. Each handle is color-coded, showing exactly which safety lock you’re opening or closing.
