WIRE 1200Q9 – Drum Winder

A single machine designed to produce both coils and drums. Its versatility allows handling a wide range of cables, ropes and hoses. This solution enables a single operator to perform daily measuring operations in cable warehouses.

ELECTRICAL FEATURES:

• Power supply: 220 V-50 Hz (380 V for automatic layering);
• Speed adjustment via inverter and potentiometer, 0–70 RPM;
• 1.1 kW gear motor;
• Control panel with command buttons and indicator lights;
• Dual multifunction handles (coil side and drum side) for cable layering, start command and RPM adjustment.

COILING HEAD

COILING HEAD FEATURES:

• Integrated rapid coiling head;
• Retractable levers for quick coil removal;
• Cylindrical core during winding and conical core during extraction;
• Installed on a shaft for small-sized drums.

WINDER FEATURES:

• Steel shaft with cones;
• Drum locking cone with a handle for fast tightening;
• Drum loading by inserting the shaft into the spool hole and moving the machine;
• Drum lifting with a manual hydraulic pump;
• Machine with 4 wheels, 2 of which swivel and have brakes;
• Protective guards compliant with CE standards.

MEASURING DEVICE FEATURES:

• Measuring device for round cables with diameters from 3 to 50 mm (tolerance +1-2%);
• Rubber-coated measuring wheel for better grip and enhanced accuracy;
• Mechanical meter counter with manual reset;
• Manual cable layering using guides and runners;
• Layering handle accessible from the machine sides, designed to meet safety standards;
• Wire 1200Q9 and Wire 1200Q13 models come with an integrated Supermetal measuring device code 120, for cables from 3 to 60 mm in diameter.
